Our Recruitment

Our application process is quick and simple: apply online, answer a few questions and fill in some details then upload a CV and you are done. We don’t believe in keeping you waiting to hear about your application so we aim to come back to you within a few days if you have been successful to the next stage. After this point you will go through an initial telephone interview, an online test (if applying for the Engineering Leadership Programme) and a face to face assessment which could last anywhere from 2 hours through to a full day. Here we will go through a behavioural and technical interview, you will be asked to deliver a presentation, or take part in another job related activity and also given the opportunity to meet some members of the team and senior leadership.

National Instruments believe that the interview process is two way – its not just about us assessing you for the role, but also about giving you the opportunity to find out more about us and how we work.   • Vacation allowance – 0.8% of employee’s monthly salary at the time of the holiday.  Paid in June.
  • Summer time – For most of the year, the working hours are increased by 15 minutes each day which allows 1 hour reduction of working hours every day in June, July, August and a half day’s leave on days before a public holiday.
  • Flexible working hours – Working time is 39 hours per week.  Employees can flex between 7.00 -9.00am  and 16.00 -18.00 (15.00 – 17.00 during summer time and on Fridays)
