ELP - Internship



The Role

This role is for those on track for a strong result within Engineering, Computer Science or Physics disciplines.

Our Internship programme offers you a 12 month insight into our Engineering Leadership Programme. You will not be treated as an intern, instead you will be training and working alongside our graduates from day one.


  • Your programme will start with an 8 week training programme where you will get to grips with the NI technology and approaches to working with our customers. Then the real fun starts; You will be helping to deliver support to our customers who are using NI products. This could be telephone or email support and isn’t your standard ‘help desk’ approach – instead we pride ourselves in working in partnership with our customers, acting in a consultative way to understand and advise them utilising out technical knowhow.
  • During your 6 or 12 months, you will have the opportunity to complete a 3 month rotation into either Development Sales Engineer or Technical Marketing (business needs dependant) to see how the other side of the business operates
  • Opportunity to pull together technical case studies for use throughout the whole of the business.
  • Opportunity to propose and complete an individual project whilst on your internship
  • All this supported by ongoing training and support from your team leader, mentor and peers


Internship Locations

Our internships can be offered at Newbury: UK.

During the application process, you will be asked to state a preference of location.


Please note

That if you would like to work in our Netherlands regional centre; Dutch and French is a requirement alongside English. For the Swedish regional centre, we require; Swedish or Finnish or Danish alongside English.
If successful to offer stage, we will consider your preference for location. However, we do reserve the right to allocate the regional centre of successful candidates based on business need.
