Rob started at NI in the Inside Sales department in 1994. He then spent time in the Applications Engineering team, developing the depth of his technical knowledge on NI products, before moving to a role in Field Sales in 1997. He then progressed to managing the Field Sales and System Engineering teams. Rob took his current role in August 2008.
Over the past eight years, Francis has served as the Vice President of Europe, during which time the sales accross the continent have nearly doubled and many new branch offices have opened. Francis is responsible for customer operations across Europe. Additionally, he works with sales management worldwide to ensure the NI global sales force evolves with the company’s ongoing growth and expansion into new areas.
Kyle began his National Instruments career in 2001 as an Applications Engineer in Austin, Texas. Two years later he moved into his role as Product Marketing Manager for Machine Vision and Image Processing. Kyle has also spent time at NI Germany, working as a Technical Marketing Engineer before returning to the US to manage the Embedded Systems Marketing Group. He joined the UK & Ireland as Director of Marketing in June 2011.
Stuart joined NI as an Applications Engineer in 2003 and once he had furthered his product knowledge and gained customer application experience, went onto manage the Application Engineering Group in 2007 and after that moved into a Field Sales Engineer role. Since then, he has become an Area Sales Manager and works with a team of Field Sales Engineers to drive customer success and proficiency with NI products.
In 2006 Joe began his current role as the Area Sales and Systems Engineering Manager for NI UK, developing business, sales and engineering strategies for the UK market. Joe has over 20 year’s industry experience and his special interest is in the company’s UK Big Physics accounts. He is a member of the Institute of Physics and Institute of Engineering and Technology. He joined NI in 1992, initially working for the inside sales department and then moving to the applications engineering team. He was then promoted into field sales in 1996, where he progressed to Senior Direct Sales Manager. In 2002 Joe became Northern European Applications Engineering Manager responsible for UK, Scandinavia and Benelux teams.
