Georg Plasswilm

Georg Plasswilm, Regional Sales Director, Northern Europe

Georg joined NI-Germany as an Applications Engineer in October 1996 and he progressed successfully through our field sales organisation; in 1999 he was promoted to the National Sales Manager for Germany and in 2013 he became the Northern Region Manager (Benelux & Nordics). In his new role Georg will be responsible for the Northern European region which contains many global customers in key industries such as wireless communications and Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas as well as Transportation.

Kyle Voosen

Kyle Voosen, Northern Europe Marketing Manager, Northern Europe

Kyle began his NI career in 2001 as an Applications Engineer in Austin, Texas. Two years later he moved into his role as Product Marketing Manager for Machine Vision and Image Processing. Kyle has also spent time at NI Germany, working as a Technical Marketing Engineer before returning to the US to manage the Embedded Systems Marketing Group. He joined the UK & Ireland as Director of Marketing in June 2011.



David Baker

David Baker, Academic Programme Manager, Northern Europe

David, a Sales Manager with more than 20 years' experience of helping to make NI customers in industry and academia successful, is the Academic Programme Manager. "We believe that tomorrow's engineers and scientists are best served by a hands-on, project-based, experimental learning experience", said David, "and my role is to work with academic partners to foster this environment for education and research, adopting NI tools in Academia". In 2013 David expanded his role to take on management and leadership responsibility for the Benelux and Nordic countries Academic Program.


Stuart Roberts

Stuart Roberts, Regional Sales Manager, UK & Ireland

Stuart joined NI as an Applications Engineer in 2003 and once he had furthered his product knowledge and gained customer application experience, went onto manage the Application Engineering Group in 2007 and after that moved into a Field Sales Engineer role. Since then, he became an Area Sales Manager and works with a team of Field Sales Engineers to drive customer success and proficiency with NI products. As of November 2014, Stuart took on the role as Regional Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland, working closely with Regional Sales Management and Business Partners to evolve sales strategy.



Joe Woodford

Joe Woodford, Scientific Research & Big Physics BDM, Europe

Joe has over 20 year’s industry experience and his special interest is in the company’s UK Big Physics accounts. He is a member of the Institute of Physics and Institute of Engineering and Technology. He joined NI in 1992, initially working for the Inside Sales department and then moving to the Applications Engineering team. He was then promoted into Field Sales in 1996, where he progressed to Senior Direct Sales Manager. In 2002 Joe became Northern European Applications Engineering Manager responsible for UK, Scandinavia and Benelux teams. In 2015, Joe became Business Development Manager for Scientific Research and Big Physics, helping to further support the business development activities within organisations.

John Wotton

John Wootton, Area Sales Manager, UK & Ireland

John joined NI in 2005 as the District Sales Manager for Scotland and North England. John brought 20 years of experience in the Test and Measurement industry gained in engineering and business roles. In 2008 John became an Area Sales Manager working with his team supporting customers in Scotland, Ireland and England.


Rahman Jamal

Rahman Jamal,Technical and Marketing Director, Europe

As the Global Technology & Marketing Director for NI, Rahman leads the marketing organisations in Europe, East Asia, the Emerging Markets and the Americas. He is a leading expert in the different industrial markets of interest to NI, including test and measurement, design and control, industrial and embedded, automotive, and academia. Rahman earned a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Paderborn, Germany. He is a prolific author of articles, books and user-conference proceedings and a thought leader in many public forums on innovation policy— most recently within the domain of Cyber-Physical systems and the German Industrie 4.0 initiative.
