Meet NI at SPE Offshore Europe

At SPE Offshore Europe 2015 NI will showcase how off-the-shelf technology can accelerate the development of offshore applications.

NI has solved challenges in offshore applications, including:

At the NI booth, # 3E180, you will also get the chance to discover NI InsightCM Enterprise; a complete online asset monitoring system that can be customised using off-the-shelf tools, in order to reduce downtime and lower repair costs; while lengthening maintenance cycles and optimising machine performance. The system processes raw data generating alarms and makes data available for off-line analysis.

Meet ISC and Houlder at the NI booth

logo   Visit the NI booth, to talk to ISC and Houlder about how they developed a control system for gripper arms used during the offshore installation of 70-ton monopiles for wind turbines. Houlder and ISC successfully Lloyd’s Register certified the off-the-shelf hardware, stating that “The combination of LabVIEW (software) and CompactRIO delivered the computational power required for our low-level control and kinematic calculations, as well as the determinism and reliability required for our safety-critical operational logic."
